Ferrucci & Walicki foresters have been managing forestland in Connecticut and Massachusetts since 1982. Founded by Mike Ferrucci and Tom Walicki after graduating from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, Mike and Tom set out to establish a forest management company that operated on the highest environmental and economic principles. F&W continues to be a leader in environmentally sound and sustainable land management. Eric has been sole Managing Partner since 2014. F&W's office is located in Middlefield, CT. [email protected] Eric Hansen Eric holds a B.S. in Forestry from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst (2002). He is a CT Certified Forester (F #720), a Licensed Forester in Massachusetts (#435), and a USDA-NRCS Technical Service Provider (TSP #12-8820). He has been with F&W since 2012. Prior to coming to F&W he worked as a County Forester in Vermont and worked for the U.S. Forest Service, the Metropolitan District Commission in Connecticut and the CT DEEP Division of Forestry before working in Vermont. Eric is a member of the Society of American Foresters and has served as an officer in Vermont and Connecticut. He lives near New Haven, CT. [email protected] Mike Pellegrino Mike holds a B.S. in Forestry from the University of Connecticut, and has been with F&W since March 2025. Prior to starting with F&W he worked with the Metropolitan District Commission in Connecticut and with the University of Connecticut’s Forestry Crew. Mike is passionate about sustainable land stewardship and communicating these concepts with people, managing for diverse native species, and promoting meadow habitats for pollinator and bird species. [email protected] Noah Green Noah holds a B.S. in Natural Resources from the University of Connecticut (2026). Noah has been working with F&W since June 2026. Previously he worked as a forestry intern at the Metropolitan District Commission in Connecticut. Noah is passionate about finding functional management strategies that align with landowner goals and support responsible stewardship. [email protected] Will Kessler Will earned a M.F. from the Yale School of the Environment in 2026. He is a Connecticut Certified Forester (#1418) and a member of the Society of American Foresters. At Yale, Will focused on sustainable forest management and operations and completed the Yale Forests Forester Apprenticeship Program. He is interested in practical forest management that supports resilient and diverse forests while meeting landowner objectives. [email protected] |
