Solar, wind, and biomass-based energy facilities require extensive study and planning to ensure peak performance. With extensive experience in property research and natural resource-oriented investigations, F&W is well positioned to assist with feasibility and site assessment studies for these types of facilities.

Our GIS-based mapping and analysis, on-the-ground property information gathering, and site investigation skills can serve many parts of the green energy sector. These skills can assist with constraint mapping, visual impact analysis/assessment, and other aspects of the siting process. Assistance with permit acquisition and environmental oversight to ensure permitting compliance during construction is also available.

Once green energy facilities are established, special long-range management plans for underlying land resources should be considered. Timber management, property tax reductions, habitat enhancement, and carbon sequestration assessments are examples of aspects that F&W has assisted utilities integrate into their property management plans.
